Shining eyes...

You might already be a fan of classical music. You might not. You might just like some of it from the soundtrack of a favourite film. It doesn't really matter; read on.

Benjamin Zander is a conductor, teacher, and speaker, renowned for his entertaining pre-concert talks. His TED Talk is on 'the transformative power of classical music', but the talk is about much more than that and I find it inspirational on many levels.

Zander covers Shakespeare, leadership, teaching, grieving, the optimum number of buttocks required to play the piano, and conflict resolution, among other things.

Whatever your views on classical music, it's well worth taking 20 minutes out of your day to watch this clip.
